Wine Else? is an early-stage independent project, not the official representative of any appellation, wine board, producer, retailer or government authority. Its aim is to educate and connect interested adults around Languedoc and Roussillon wine. The initiative does not currently accept payments for coverage.
If a future commercial relationship exists, it will be clearly disclosed adjacent to the relevant content. Paid promotion, affiliate relationships and editorial recommendations must never be confused.
Our sourcing and correction standards.
We verify appellation and regional claims against the relevant interprofessional bodies and authoritative sources. We attribute interview material accurately, and distinguish a producer's statements from verified independent facts. If a correction is needed, we should publish it clearly rather than quietly rewrite history.
At launch, basic education references include the CIVL for Languedoc and the US TTB for import regulations. Specific winery coverage requires consent and first-hand or otherwise verifiable information.
Photography and representation.
Illustrative wine photographs on this prototype are drawn from Unsplash-hosted image assets. They do not signify a business partnership, a specific estate, or certification that a pictured location is in the Languedoc-Roussillon. Producer portraits and distinctive estate photography will only be added with appropriate rights and accurate credits.
No fictitious reviewer ratings, press endorsements, testimonials, producer quotes or stock availability are displayed.
Privacy and responsible consumption.
This static prototype does not use advertising analytics, a database or a newsletter sign-up. The age reminder stores only a local preference in your browser. Emailing us uses your own mail client; the privacy terms of that service apply. This site is for adults of legal drinking age in their jurisdiction.
Enjoy wine responsibly. There is no online alcohol checkout, delivery service or offer to import bottles into the United States.
